Slippin' In is Buddy Guy's ninth studio album, which he released in 1994 on the Silvertone label. It was produced by none less than Eddie Kramer, who collaborated with artists such as Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, and the list goes on. Buddy recorded the album together with Stevie Ray Vaughan's Double Trouble members Reese Wynans, Chris Layton, and Tommy Shannon. On the album, Buddy Guy reasserts his bluesness and lets his incomparable guitar loose. The 11-track set features several covers and two originals: “Little Dab-A-Doo” and “Man of Many Words”.
