45rpm 180g Double LP Remastered From Original Analogue Tapes by Andy Pearce at Masterpiece in London!
Caught up in the rise of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, the fourth album by British rock legend Ian Gillan shows his band landing on their feet after their first label went broke. They signed a multi-million deal with Virgin Records and rode high in the charts with the faster and more frenetic sound of Future Shock. Originally released in March 1981 by Virgin, it reached number 2 in the UK charts.
This classic album is remastered from the original analogue tapes. Spread across two discs, it runs at 45rpm offering better sound quality than the original single LP. Each heavyweight 180-gram disc is packed in newly designed inner sleeves with new liner notes courtesy of the Deep Purple Appreciation Society (DPAS). The album spawned two hit singles "New Orleans" and "No Laughing In Heaven".
